Terms of Service

By accessing or using Ng'ombe Kuu ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Ng'ombe Kuu is a cloud-based dairy farm management platform that helps farmers record milk production, manage livestock, track expenses, and receive farm updates. The Service is operated by Ember Insights Studio.

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
• One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one account without prior written consent.

You agree not to:

• Enter false or misleading farm data with the intent to deceive.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data.
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download data from the Service.
• Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful under Kenyan law or applicable international law.

WhatsApp-based data entry and reporting is an opt-in feature. By enabling it, you confirm that the WhatsApp number you provide is registered to you and that you consent to receive automated messages from the Service on that number. You may opt out at any time through your profile settings.

You retain ownership of all farm data you enter. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim intellectual property rights over your data.

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ember Insights Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or farm revenue.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kenya.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
