Ng'ombe Kuu is a dairy farm management platform operated by Ember Insights Studio. We provide tools for recording milk production, tracking livestock, managing expenses, and receiving farm updates via WhatsApp.

• Account information — name, email address, and password (hashed) when you register.
• Farm data — cow records, milk production logs, feed expenses, and breeding records you enter.
• WhatsApp number — only if you opt in to WhatsApp-based data entry or reports.
• Usage data — browser type, IP address, and pages visited, collected automatically via server logs for security and performance purposes.

• To provide the farm management service and display your records.
• To send WhatsApp reports or alerts — only when you have explicitly opted in.
• To send transactional emails (password reset, email confirmation).
• To maintain platform security and troubleshoot technical issues.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

If you use WhatsApp-based data entry, your messages are received and processed via the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API. The content of your messages is stored only as the farm records you create (e.g., a milk entry). Raw message text is not retained beyond the processing request. We do not share WhatsApp message content with any third party other than Meta as required to operate the API.

Meta's own privacy practices are governed by the WhatsApp Privacy Policy.

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or submit a deletion request, your personal data and farm records will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

• Withdraw consent for WhatsApp communications at any time via your profile settings.

We use a single session cookie required for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
